Built from experience, not methodology

NorthCo is a boutique operational advisory firm. Every service it offers exists because its founder kept encountering the same problem on assignment and there was no good solution. Nothing has been assembled from market opportunity. Nothing is offered that has not been lived.

The firm works with privately owned, family-owned, and investor-backed businesses where performance, leadership, or operational grip needs to strengthen. And with the senior professional communities that operate within them.

How NorthCo came to exist

Trevor Parker has operated at Chair, NED, and CEO level for more than thirty years, largely within businesses backed by private equity or lenders. That work built a precise understanding of what those environments actually require: someone who arrives quickly, earns trust without drama, and focuses the people around them on what genuinely matters.

NorthCo was built to make that experience accessible in a structured way. Not as a personal practice dependent on one person’s availability, but as a firm with a growing range of capabilities, each one developed from direct operational experience rather than theoretical frameworks.

The first formal addition to the practice is discreet resourcing support. There will be others. The principle stays the same throughout.

How NorthCo works

Most of NorthCo’s work begins through relationships and referrals. It succeeds because it lands constructively with the people already in the business. Discreet, direct, and accountable from day one.

The firm works with a small number of clients at any one time. That is a deliberate choice. It is how the quality and attention the work requires is maintained.

Trevor Parker

Trevor Parker is the principal of NorthCo and the source of its operational credibility. He has been the CEO that someone was sent in to help. He has been the interim who landed on Monday and needed everything working by Friday. He has sat at every side of the table and understands the dynamic from all of them.

Most of his work is repeat business. Clients return, refer others, or bring him into new situations because the previous engagement delivered without creating new problems to manage.
